Internal Update: Eventscribe Test Accounts

Overview

To enhance security and streamline account management across our products, new test accounts will now be automatically created for each event in Eventscribe Website and Mobile App. This initiative ensures we maintains consistent, secure, and aligned with our broader security improvements.

New Test Accounts

Starting this week, every event will include the following three (3) new test accounts by default:

  1. Cadmium Basic with Basic permissions
  2. Cadmium Standard with Standard permissions
  3. Cadmium Pro with Pro permissions

NOTE

Each of these accounts will have a unique Access Key per event.

Deprecation of Legacy Test Accounts

As part of this transition, the following test accounts will no longer be supported after November 30, 2025:

  • Marianne Bryant
  • Sean Lippert
  • Sam Squirrell
  • Michelle Wyatt
  • Peter Wyatt

Please ensure that any internal documentation, training materials, and workflows referencing these accounts are updated accordingly.

Next Steps

  • Training & Communication: Update all internal training materials and communication channels to reflect the new accounts.
  • External Messaging: This change will be included in the August external release notes, allowing you to direct customers to the relevant documentation.
  • Process Updates: Ensure all processes involving test accounts are revised to utilize the new event-specific accounts.

Key Dates

  • Effective Immediately: New test accounts automatically available for each event.
  • After November 30, 2025: Legacy test accounts will no longer be supported.
