New
Cadmium Identity Available in Eventscribe Survey Magnet
Cadmium Identity is a unified authentication platform providing secure and trusted authentication for Cadmium's event and continuing education applications. To learn more about Cadmium Identity, view this article.
Cadmium Identity is now available for Eventscribe Survey and will begin rolling out to select events on November 18, 2026. Additional Eventscribe modules will follow, with attendee-facing products first. To learn more about the transition, view this article. (October 6, 2026)
Education Harvester – New Add-On: Eventscribe Schedule Builder
Schedule Builder is a new add-on for Education Harvester that turns your existing session data into a finished event agenda. Set the rules that matter for your event, including rooms, time slots, speakers, speaker availability, tracks, and session types, and Schedule Builder generates a conflict-free schedule in minutes.
You stay in control of the final agenda. Drag and drop sessions to adjust their placement, pin sessions whose room and time are already decided, and regenerate the schedule around them. When you approve the schedule, the room and time slot for each session are written to Education Harvester automatically, so nothing needs to be entered twice.
Schedule Builder is available as an add-on. To add it to your event, contact your Cadmium Account Manager.

Improvement
Survey Magnet – Enforced Closing Settings Renamed
We've renamed the "Enforced Closing Date" and "Enforced Closing Time" settings to "Assessment Close Date" and "Assessment Close Time." The new names make it clearer when an assessment will stop accepting responses. (October 5, 2026)
Eventscribe Registration – Billing Information Now Carries Over to the Payment Form
Billing information entered during registration now pre-fills the Cadmium Payments credit card form, so registrants no longer need to re-enter their name, email, and billing address at checkout. This applies both when registering and when adding options to an existing registration. When a state or province can't be matched, such as for addresses outside the United States and Canada, registrants select it on the payment form. (October 6, 2026)
Registration – Member IDs Can Now Include Letters and Leading Zeros
Registration now accepts alphanumeric Member IDs, including IDs that start with zeros. Before, Member IDs had to be numbers only, up to 10 digits, so they didn't fit the formats many modern membership and association management systems use. With this change, Registration can integrate with a much wider range of membership platforms for member lookup, with fewer workarounds. Existing numeric Member IDs and current integrations keep working as they do now, and no action is needed. (October 8, 2026)
Education Harvester – Date Selection
When you set event dates in setup missions, the calendar opened on the year 2060. You had to click back through several pages of years to reach the current date.
The closing date, exhibitor lockout cutoff, and launch date calendars now open on today's date when no date has been saved yet. If you’ve already saved a date, the calendar opens on that date instead. (October 9, 2026)
Registration – Removal of the Public Attendee List
On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, we will remove the public Attendee List page from Eventscribe Registration, along with the "View Attendee List" link that can appear on registration and event home pages. This page displays registrant names, companies, and titles to anyone with the link, and we are retiring it to better protect attendee privacy.
After this date, existing links to the Attendee List will no longer load. No changes to your page styles are needed. Administrators who want to share a list of attendees can create a custom page on their event website or retrieve attendee data through the Registration API. (October 12, 2026)
Education Harvester – Bulk Downloads Now Complete with Long Presentation Titles
You can now download presentation files even when a title is very long and exceeds 175 characters. Before, one long title could stop the whole ZIP download without any explanation.
File names longer than 175 characters are now shortened automatically, and the file extension stays the same. When you open the Multi-file Download window, it lists the presentation IDs that will be shortened. For title-based naming formats, it also links to Worksheet E, so you can review those titles before downloading or last minute edits. (October 12, 2026)
Education Harvester – Upload Tasks Now Note That Only the First Upload Slot Is Published
We've added a note to presenter upload tasks for slides, handouts, and posters that have more than one upload slot. The note explains that only the file in the first slot is published to the Eventscribe Website and Mobile App, helping presenters place their file correctly so it displays for attendees as expected. (October 12, 2026)
Registration API – Filter Payments and Purchases by Transaction ID Range
We've added StartID and EndID filters to the Registration payments (getPaymentsXML.jsp) and purchases (getPurchasesXML.jsp) API, allowing integrations to retrieve transactions by a transaction ID range. Because transaction IDs are assigned in the order transactions are entered, an integration can track the last ID it processed and pull everything newer on each run. This ensures payments that are entered manually or given an earlier transaction date are no longer missed by date-based pulls. (October 14, 2026)
Registration – Public Attendee List Removed
The public Attendee List page has been removed from event registration sites. The "Attendee List" link no longer appears in the Meeting Wizard Web Site Menu, and the <## ATTENDEES ##> style tag no longer shows a link on registration forms. All other style tags still work as before. (October 20, 2026)
Fix and Improvement
Education Harvester – Presenter Disclosures Missing on the Review Site
When presenter disclosures were turned on for reviewers, some presenters' disclosure statements came through blank. This included presenters who had answered "Nothing to Disclose."
Reviewers now see the correct disclosure for every presenter. Some presenters had extra inactive records in their profile, and the review site was sometimes reading those instead of the presenter's current answers. It now reads only the current record.
We also opened up a related setting. The option in the reviewer upload task that shows presenter disclosures to reviewers used to be visible only to Cadmium staff. Clients can now see it and turn it on or off themselves. (October 16, 2026)
Fix
Eventscribe Registration – Item Changes With a Credit Card Refund Now Work on Cadmium Payments Events
Administrators changing a registrant's item with Refund by Credit Card selected on a Cadmium Payments event received an error stating the expiration date on file was missing, and the refund could not be completed. This issue has been resolved, and the refund is now issued to the original card payment, the same way a standalone credit card refund works. If a refund is declined, the registration item is left unchanged and the attempt is listed on the Failed Transactions report, rather than appearing as completed on Transaction History or the Credit Card Reconciliation report. (October 6, 2026)
Scorecard – Overall Average Rating Now Displays on the Review Summary Brief #3 Report
The Overall Average Rating (OAR) was not populating on the Review Summary Brief #3 report, so administrators had to combine it with another report to see OAR alongside standard deviation. This issue has been resolved and the report now calculates OAR. (October 12, 2026)
Eventscribe Products and myCadmium – Omnisearch Removed from Footer
We've removed Omnisearch from the footer of Education Harvester, Scorecard, Website, Mobile App, Survey Magnet, and MyCadmium. For clients with several years of event data, searches often timed out before showing results. (October 13, 2026)
Eventscribe Registration – Share With Co-Worker Now Sends Domain Authentication Records
Administrators using 'Share With Co-Worker' on the Domain Authentication page received a 404 error instead of the email being sent, regardless of the recipient's email domain. This issue has been resolved. The email now sends from a Cadmium address and includes the DNS records directly in the message body, so there is no link to click and nothing expires. (October 14, 2026)
Eventscribe Website – My Plan "Save as PDF" Now Exports the Full Schedule
We fixed an issue on the Eventscribe Website where exporting My Plan with "Save As PDF" produced a blank document titled "Just a moment…". The export now creates a complete PDF of the attendee's schedule. (October 14, 2026)
Registration – Workshops and Options No Longer Overbook at Checkout
An issue was resolved where two registrants checking out at the same time could both claim the last spot in a workshop or limited-quantity option, pushing it past capacity. Capacity is now checked again when a registration is submitted. If the item has sold out in the meantime, the registrant sees a sold-out message and can go back to choose another option, and their card is not charged. (October 20, 2026)
